A platformer in the old console style, across six levels: the open-sky orchard, the low-ceiling underground, the treetops over the abyss, the castle of lava and fire bars, the cane field with the whole cast and the final castle. Bottomless pits, blocks that drop fruit when headbutted, chimneys with fire, ladders and a flag at the end of every level. Variable-height jump, double jump, wall jump, trampolines. Pigs, a pig king on the bridge, bombers, a cannon with its igniter, crates that pretend to be boxes — all stompable. Chained fruit and stomps become combos, and checkpoints wait mid-level: dying costs half a second. Art from Pixel Frog's Pixel Adventure and Kings and Pigs packs.

how to play

A run-to-the-right platformer: six levels, each a row of rooms, and all of them end at the same ladder with the trophy on the other side. Along the way there are bottomless pits, pigs, blocks holding fruit, chimneys with fire, fire bars and crushers. Reaching the trophy clears the level; your time decides the medal.

On the keyboard, move with the arrows or A and D; jump with Space, Z, X or K. Hold the button to jump higher and let go early for a short hop. In the air, press again for the double jump; on a wall, jump for the wall jump. R restarts the level from scratch, ESC pauses, M mutes. On a phone, the left, right and jump buttons appear at the first touch.

Touching an enemy from the side or from below kills you; landing on top finishes it. Dying costs half a second and sends you back to the last checkpoint, with the traps rearmed and the enemies back. Fruit and stomps chained within two seconds form a combo, which shows from three and is lost when you die.

tips

Gold is clearing the level within par time, silver up to 1.4 times, bronze up to double; par runs from 55 to 95 seconds.
Stomping an enemy gives your double jump back, and holding the button on the stomp gives a much higher bounce. You can chain stomps without touching the ground.
A block only drops its fruit when you headbutt it from below, one block at a time, and its fruit already counts in the level total from the start.
The cannonball is slower than you: you can outrun it. The bomber aims at the ground under you, so whoever stands still gets hit.
